The Questacon Technology Learning Centre (QTLC) offers interactive workshops and public programs which immerse visitors in ideas, tools and creativity.
The QTLC is the latest offering from Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre. The QTLC delivers programs with a technology, innovation and design focus, using Questacon’s proven approach to engagement through hands-on interactivity.
Located next to the Royal Australian Mint in Canberra, the QTLC offers workshops, video conferences and public programs which provide an engaging exploration of high-tech gadgets and low-tech materials.
These programs are facilitated by Questacon’s enthusiastic and lively presenters.
Through inquiry based learning and problem solving challenges, visitors are encouraged to tinker and develop inventive solutions in our fully equipped Maker Space.
The Centre also features an exhibition and a program of events that fosters an understanding of the process of innovation and manufacturing with the ‘Gallery of Australian Inventiveness’. This engages and involves visitors with the stories of innovation and manufacturing success.
